Cultural and historical monuments and riches
Kiten doesn’t have differentiated cultural and historical monuments to be a special aim of the tourists but yet good resources are available. Mostly we are speaking of the relics of the ancient fortress Urdoviza. By archaeological investigations many artifacts are recovered from the South Bay – such as stone and bone work tools and pottery, which are now kept in the museum of Sozopol. The mayor of Kiten has the idea of building a museum in the village in the near future, where all these finds to be placed. It will be a great opportunity to make the tourists acquainted with the village history and all the archaeological findings to be exhibited to the public. To the natural resource may be added the villages in the inner parts of Strandja as well, which could be objects of the tourism. In villages like Brashlyan Stoilovo Gramatikovo, Kondolovo, Kosti, Brodilovo and other there are separate houses and entire ensembles of typical Strandja houses preserved from the Renaissance because of their remoteness from the town centeres and roads

These houses are unique for our country and the South Black Sea tourist organization may and must combine these cultural and historical places of interest with the summer recreation
